Personal Responsibility
In his 2006 State of the Union Address, President Bush noted that government has played a role in bringing about a revolution of conscience in this country by establishing policies that promote personal responsibility. Indeed, at the heart of the success at meth treatment malibu is the use of a change in perceptions about not only the acceptability of using illicit substances, but also the need to take responsibility for ones actions. These changes take place at the individual, family, and community levels, and much of our prevention and intervention strategy therefore focuses on changing behaviors and norms.
